Intoxicated Woman Fires Gun Outside Hospital
MARTINSBURG, W. Va. — An intoxicated woman who fired one round into the air in the City Hospital parking lot and later fainted was taken into custody on August 5.
Hospital security personnel observed the woman via security cameras sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot holding a gun to her head, The Journal reports. The woman then got out of the vehicle and walked around the outside of the hospital, firing one shot into the air.
The woman put the gun in her purse and entered the hospital’s outpatient waiting room. Police were called to the scene at 2:15 p.m.
