Grants Expert Kurt Bradley to Speak at the Campus Safety Conference April 26-28

TAMPA, FLA.

Now more than ever, campus police, security, IT and emergency management departments must have the skills to effectively supplement their budgets and maximize their ability to meet their equipment and training needs. Grants are an excellent source of funding, but many school and university security stakeholders struggle to navigate the application process successfully.

At the Campus Safety Conference, April 26-28 in Tampa, Fla., Kurt Bradley, director for CHIEF Grants, a division of CHIEF Corp., will present two information-packed courses on effective grant application writing.

During these two specialized sessions (one for K-12 campus officials, and one for colleges and universities), Bradley, who is a certified grants consultant, will teach attendees how to write grant applications that get results. Attendees will learn:

  • How to develop a grant strategy
  • How to research and locate grants and funding
  • How to identify and satisfy funding sources’ priorities
  • How to dissect a Request For Proposal (RFP)
  • And much more!

Since 2004, the first year of CHIEF Grants’ operations, Bradley has helped hundreds of public safety agencies win more than $100,000,000 in grant awards from corporate/private foundations and federal and state grant programs.

During his Campus Safety Conference presentation, Bradley will draw from his 30 years of law enforcement experience, not to mention his 78-percent success rate in obtaining grants since he began writing grant applications.
