Harvard Bans Student, Professor Relationships
Harvard has changed its previously vague policy to explicitly ban sexual relationships between undergraduate students and professors
Earlier this month, Harvard University banned sexual relationships between professors and undergraduate students.The restrictions also apply to lab workers and dissertation advisees.
Previously, the university’s policy was more vague – suggesting that such relationships were only prohibited if a student was in a professor’s class, the Daily Princetonian reports.
The change was in response to school-wide Title IX policy changes on the issues of sexual and gender-based harassment.
