WASHINGTON — More than a dozen public schools received envelopes containing white powder on May 5, and many of the schools were evacuated. No hazardous substances were found.

Thirty-seven letters have been found at 32 schools, Reuters reports. They appear to have been mailed from Dallas and are similar to letters received by some schools in the District of Columbia in October.

According to USA Today, the letters had the words “AL AQEDA-FBI” typed on them.

The letters have been sent to the FBI’s lab at Quantico, Va., for review, according to Reuters.
