David Santo has over 25 years of experience in building technologies.  He is currently the Leader of Mechanical Center of Competency for North America at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.  In his current role he has been instrumental in driving Smart Mechanical Services in the United States and Canada.  This combination of mechanical services, energy services, and digital services reduces operating costs, embraces predictive and proactive maintenance and provides for more informed capital spending to help facility managers prioritize limited maintenance funds. He brings to the industry the engineering mindset he learned at the United States Military Academy graduating as a Computer Scientist and General Engineer.  His insights have been influenced by strategic planning that he practiced as a staff officer in the US Army and his industry experience in providing quality building environments.

 
Martha Senf, National Business Development Leader, Building Level IoT
Martha Senf provides business development and project development assistance to performance contracting teams that are considering building level IoT systems. Her goal is to ensure that customers receive the solution they want as well as benefit from “best practices” being employed in each project.  She works with a team to provide financial analysis, technical analysis and risk mitigation on projects that include Enlighted sensors and the Comfy application. She is a member of the American Water Works Association, a LEED Green Associate, and a graduate of Syracuse University.

 

Fred James, Jr., National Business Development Manager for Education
Fred James currently leads the Education markets for Siemens Smart Infrastructure and supports Siemens higher education customers with a focus on strategic engagements and integrated Total Energy Management solutions – including strategic energy planning, distributed energy, energy efficiency and program management. Mr. James has over thirty years of energy consulting, project development, and energy management program experience. He is educated in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Connecticut and the Executive Integral Leadership Program from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business.
