Emergency Drills at University Of Maryland, College Park

Here are highlights from the University of Maryland’s drills and actual emergencies, including Hurricane Irene and Super Storm Sandy.

Sheltering operations set up by the State of Maryland at Ritchie Coliseum at the University of Maryland. The UMD has an MOU with the state, and it was opened during Super Storm Sandy for sheltering operations. While it was operated by the State, security was provided by the University Police.
