Campus Safety’s Jan. 20 Video News Roundup

In this week’s edition of Campus Safety’s news round up, we discuss an expert’s take on the past and future of the security industry.

Campus Safety magazine has so much valuable content each week that we’ve decided to start giving brief video overviews of some of the stories that have the biggest impact on the security industry.

In this week’s roundup, we cover CNL Software’s Keith Bloodworth’s predictions for the security industry, which include spending cuts in manpower. Bloodworth’s in depth breakdown is especially valuable because of his prominent status in the security industry: he co-founded Axis Communications in 1984.

The video also touches on our K-12 salary survey from last week. With lots of interesting insights and a slideshow comparing this year’s results with 2011, the salary survey is definitely worth checking out.

So watch the video, read the articles and let us know what you think about the state of the security industry!
