Vicon V9360 Hemispheric Camera
Vicon Industries of Hauppauge, N.Y., releases the V9360 hemispheric camera that provides high-resolution, continuous 180° or 360° coverage, according to the company.
Available in indoor and outdoor models, the camera features a fisheye lens and 4-megapixel sensor to capture a complete 360° view, which is delivered as two 180o panoramic images visually stacked on top of each other within a single video stream. Featuring wide dynamic range (WDR) and a mechanical infrared (IR) cut filter, the camera transmits a choice of H.264, MPEG-4 SP and M-JPEG compressions with dual streaming.
