Telex Radio Dispatch SDC and MOTOTRBO Interfaces

Telex Radio Dispatch introduces the Sprint Direct Connect (SDC) interface and the new, enhanced Motorola MOTOTRBO interface to the company’s C-Soft software suite.

Telex Radio Dispatch of Burnsville, Minn., introduces the Sprint Direct Connect (SDC) interface and the new, enhanced Motorola MOTOTRBO interface to the company’s C-Soft software suite.

The SDC interface allows direct two-way radio communications with other units in a talk group or direct calling of another SDC device. This is achieved by connecting the company’s IP-224 Ethernet adapter panel with the SDC interface option enabled to an AdvanceTec AdvanceBridge device.

The MOTOTRBO interface allows direct two-way radio communications with other units in their assigned talk groups or direct calls to an individual in MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Link Capacity Plus or Connect Plus systems.

It also incorporates GPS and text messaging (except Connect Plus) along with emergency alerting. This is achieved by connecting the IP-224 with the MOTOTRBO Interface option enabled to a MOTOTRBO control station, according to the company.
