STI Exit Stopper for Emergency Doors

Safety Technology Int’l of Waterford, Mich., releases the Exit Stopper to help solve the problems of unauthorized exits and entries of fire or emergency doors.

The multifunction door alarm alerts if a protected door is opened by emitting an ear piercing alarm for 30 seconds, three minutes or continuously (as preset by the user). Another option is annunciator mode, which announces door entry with a set of 10 beeps and then resets. When used in alarm mode, a key operated override will silence the alarm and allow authorized exits through the door.

Sound intensity choices include 95dB or 105dB.
