Sony Electronics IPELA Hybrid Z-Series Cameras

Sony Electronics of Park Ridge, N.J., releases the IPELA Hybrid Z-Series cameras, the industry’s first network cameras capable of simultaneously transmitting both analog standard definition and IP high definition (HD) images over a single coaxial cable, according to the company.

The series offers several models, including fixed-angle, pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) and mini dome, which are combined with receiver units that can deliver IP-functionality over coax, as well as near zero-transmission latency analog SD images for real-time surveillance applications.
