Silent Knight IntelliKnight 5820XL-EVS Fire Alarm & Emergency Voice System
Silent Knight by Honeywell of Northford, Conn., introduces the IntelliKnight 5820XL-EVS, a standalone system combining addressable fire alarm and emergency voice systems in one package.
The fully-integrated system eliminates the common method of running all speaker wire back to a main control unit, permitting the system’s intelligent amplifiers to allow speaker power to be distributed, significantly reducing speaker wire runs and installation time, according to the company.
Any combination of up to four 50W or 125W amplifiers can be placed throughout a building to provide as much as 500W of power.
