The Helios infrared (IR) camera by MicroPower Technologies is an ultra-low power day/night device that captures and transmits IR illuminated images wirelessly up to half a mile.
By incorporating an IR illuminator designed specifically for outdoor solar wireless operation, the Helios IR Camera consumes less than one-tenth of the power of an industry standard IP camera and transmits data wirelessly — all powered by solar energy, according to the company.
