Medeco M100 eCylinder
Medeco of Salem, Va., an ASSA ABLOY brand company, releases the M100 eCylinder with Aperio wireless lock technology. The Medeco M100 allows users to add access control to mechanical mortise locks with a change of a cylinder.
Aperio is a global, wireless platform that uses wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the locking device and an Aperio hub to provide real-time communication to the access control system. It helps to simplify installation, reduce costs and complexity compared to traditional access control, according to the company.
