March Networks 8000 Series Hybrid NVR

The 8000 Series hybrid NVR by March Networks of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada supports as many as 32 IP cameras, or any hybrid combination up to 16 analog/16 IP cameras.

Featuring optimized H.264 video compression, the NVR delivers detailed, high-definition (HD) video and from users’ legacy analog cameras without increasing bandwidth or storage requirements, according to the company

To ensure video is not lost, the 8000 Series incorporates an embedded Linux operating system, an internal backup battery, real-time health monitoring and additional security features that protect data and safeguard hardware functionality during unexpected power losses.

The product also incorporates a QR code that works in conjunction with March Networks’ free GURU Smartphone Application to help partners save time and money in the field.
