ER™ Blood Stopper Trauma Kit

Enable your staff to save lives in an active killer situation.
Published: August 15, 2017

Uncontrolled bleeding is the most preventable cause of death during active killer situations. A person suffering from an arterial wound can bleed out in 3 minutes or less while the national average EMS response time is 6 to 9 minutes. The ER™ Blood Stopper Trauma kit empowers staff members and bystanders to fulfill a greater role in saving lives during mass casualty and active shooter incidents.

It contains essential items critical in stopping moderate to severe bleeding including:

  • (1) SWAT Tourniquet
  • (2) Pair Nitrile Gloves
  • (1) Mylar Blanket
  • (1) Blood Stopper Trauma Dressing
  • (1) Chest Seal

In addition, the kit includes a laminated, color coded instructional card. The instructional card illustrates a picture of the human body that is color coded to identity the proper medical item needed to stop the bleeding in that part of the body. This makes it simple and easy to match the application area(s) of the body to each trauma product. Additionally, kit contains an instructional video that can be easily shared with staff members on the proper use of each item in the kit.

The ER™ Blood Stopper Trauma Kit complies with TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) regulations to effectively treat combat victims. The TCCC Standards are endorsed by both the American College of Surgeons and the National Association of EMT’s as an effective method to treat medium to severe body penetrating wounds. The Blood Stopper Kit also meets The Department of Homeland Securities “STOP THE BLEED” recommendations.
