Exclusive Study: Campuses Continue to Embrace Access Control

Visitor management continues to be a thorn in the side for 73% of hospital respondents who say this issue is somewhat to very challenging. That’s eight percentage points more than in 2014. A third of college respondents and 53% of K-12 survey participants indicate this issue is somewhat to very challenging.
Institutions/districts with less than 15,000 students struggle the most with the design and placement of windows.
Tracking and managing keys is still a concern for all three sectors, but particularly for higher education (65%) and hospitals (67%). Three out of four (75%) small hospitals with less than 200 beds rate this problem as somewhat to extremely challenging.
