Spotlight on Higher Education/Healthcare Campus Safety Director of the Year Finalist Christopher Buckley

Congratulations to Christopher Buckley, Director of Campus Safety at Keene State College, for being named one of this year’s higher education and healthcare Campus Safety Director of the Year finalists.

Some of his notable achievements include:

  • Advocated for and increased officer starting pay from $14.69 to $20 per hour.
  • Supported the creation of LGBTQ+ awareness training by a current officer for all members of the department to complete.
  • Drastically reduced the rate of vandalism in the residence halls with the installation of new cameras, and for the incidents that continued to happen, 95% were solved because the incidents were caught on video.
