System Sensor Intelligent Sounder Bases

St. Charles, Ill.-based System Sensor launches its B200SR intelligent sounder bases. The sounder bases support the System Sensor synchronization protocol, enabling them to be used as part of the general evacuation signal – fully meeting UL 268 and UL 464.

The precuts is intended for use in new and existing dwelling unit applications. Designed for attractive aesthetics and simplified installation, installers attach the mounting plate to a standard junction box, which is left completely free to store excess wire, according to the company. The base then connects to the mounting plate for a surface-mount look, with no exposed components. The base’s mounting screws are covered by the attached sensor head, providing increased tamper prevention and a cleaner look.
