S2 Security Announces S2 Mobile Security Professional App
The S2 Mobile Security Professional app allows security managers and staff to operate their S2 access control and video management systems from anywhere.
S2 Security, a provider of IP-based access control, video management and mobile security management systems, announces the release of the S2 Mobile Security Professional, a security management app for smartphones and tablets.
S2 Mobile Security Professional allows both security managers and staff to operate their S2 access control and video management systems from anywhere, according to the company. Users can switch between separate S2 systems or partitions directly in the app.
S2 Mobile Security Professional has a user-friendly interface and allows mobile security management of:
- Video Surveillance: Delivers live video and event-based video recordings
- Video Snapshots: Allows sharing of critical images through email or text message
- Event Monitoring: Displays event activity and video of interest, both in real time and recorded
- Person Details: Providers person identification and their access history log in one touch
- Door Controls: Enables momentary unlock of any door in the system
- Photo ID Capture: Takes an ID photo directly from the app
- Evacuations: Tracks evacuations and allows for management of multiple mustering points
S2 Mobile Security Professional is administered from a central location and all actions are instantly displayed at the command center.
“An additional app in the 2018 program focuses on servicing the “user’s users” who are ordinary employees and not security professionals. Our investment in the mobile space has grown by 3X this year,” says CEO John L. Moss.
The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.
