BulletSafe, a provider of polyethylene bulletproof vests, shields and plates, announces five major upgrades to its Level IIIA Bulletproof Vest based on feedback from customers.
The new vest, popular among police officers and security officers, has a slimmer design with a patent-pending plate pocket, according to the company. It also has a cool, breathable lining in the back.
There are now removable side straps on the vest, making it more upgradeable should you lose weight, and an external front carrier can now be added as well. The vest’s new ID patch area also allows for the addition of a velcro-on team patch.
Pouches in the front and back can be used for ballistic plates. BulletSafe offers lightweight ceramic plates that will fit in every size vest, which are available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 4XL.
The vest can protect against almost any handgun rounds and are tested with bullets up to a .44 Magnum, says the company. Watch the video below to see a demonstration.
