Congratulations to University of San Francisco Director of One Card and Campus Security Systems Jason Rossi on being named one of our finalists.
Some of his notable achievements include:
- Improved visitor management by deploying facial recognition in cameras that scan students’ faces as they enter the dorms, matching them to the residence hall database
- Access control upgrades resulted in a 47 percent drop in thefts from buildings in the first year of the upgrade’s implementation
- Implemented a virtual escort program to keep students safe while walking home. Implementation freed up campus officers for more foot patrols.
