Campus Safety magazine’s 2014 Campus Safety Conference has returned to Los Angeles. Hosted in partnership with the University of Southern California (USC), this year’s event will bring together university and K-12 school police chiefs, public safety directors, security technology managers, administrators, superintendents and principals; as well as municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement officers, and other community leaders and stakeholders involved in the protection of our nation’s academic campuses.
The conference will provide attendees with the techniques and information they need to prevent, detect and respond to the many risks and incidents that occur at today’s schools and universities. Topics covered include Title IX, Clery and Campus SaVE compliance; response to active shooters on K-12 campuses; site assessments; lockdown best practices and front entrance design; emergency management and notification strategies; verbal judo; identifying concerning behavior; and much, much more!
Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the exhibit hall, which will feature today’s top law enforcement, security and safety equipment and service providers. Additionally, those who attend the Campus Safety Conference will benefit from the networking opportunities provided.
The conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Midtown at USC, (3540 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90007) conveniently located near the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the California Natural History Museum, LAX and downtown.
