HARTFORD, Conn. – The Connecticut Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday that Delta Kappa Epsilon can be sued in connection with a car crash that killed four Yale students.
The accident occurred in 2003 as the students were returning from an event hosted by the fraternity, reports the Associated Press. The family of one of the victims alleges that Delta Kappa Epsilon failed to provide safe transportation home from the event, which occurred during “Hell Week.” In the lawsuit, the family claims the driver was sleep-deprived.
