BELTON, Texas — A woman who took her infant from Scott & White Hospital against medical advice was sentenced to five years’ probation Wednesday for endangering a child.
Police located the child a few hours after the abduction on Nov. 11, 2011, KWTX.com reports. Amanda Bennett, 31, tampered with a security device before taking her baby, which activated an abduction alert inside the hospital.
Bennett pleaded guilty to the child endangerment charge on March 2.
