Woman Attempts to Strike Officer at Walter Reed Hospital

BETHESDA, Md. — A 27-year-old woman tried to ram a security officer outside of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Tuesday after crashing her car into another vehicle.

The security officer fired a shot at Angela Cobbold’s vehicle causing the woman to drive away and crash her car into a nearby construction zone, reports TribLive.com. The woman was not injured; however, the officer suffered minor injuries.

Cobbold was not immediately charged for the incident, according to police.
