WEST FARGO, N.D. – The school board for West Fargo School District unanimously voted to spend $142,700 to upgrade security.
The funds will cover new video cameras, intercoms, remote-controlled locks and panic buttons that automatically dial 911, inforum.com reports.
Aurora Elementary School and Harwood Elementary will receive a remote entry system, while seven other schools in the district will install controlled entry systems.
Meanwhile, the district will replace the wooden inner doors in the main entry with a more modern design.
