The Rotary and Kiwanis clubs of Moses Lake have donated 20 automated external defibrillators (AED) to Big Bend Community College. Previously, the college only had three AEDs.
The cost of the purchase by the clubs came to $25,800, according to iFiber One News. Now, every publically accessible building on campus has an AED.
Additionally, more than 70 Big Bend employees were trained on how to use the devices, which are used to treat cardiac arrest.
