Two Kings County Hospital doctors and two nurses are facing possible criminal charges for allegedly covering up the death of a woman who was neglected in the waiting room of a psychiatric ward. The “death by neglect” incident, which was caught on surveillance, received national attention after the video clip hit the internet last year.

The report also found that suicidal patients were not treated for their behavior, but instead were drugged and restrained.

The family of woman accepted a $2 million settlement from the city in May.
