Video Insight releases its VI Monitor, a video management system, for Mac. The free VMS client for Mac allows users to access live and recorded video from any cameras on the surveillance system using an Apple computer.
VI Monitor for Mac provides users a native application that includes features such as H.264 images, thumbnails to locate cameras, preset groups of cameras, facility maps, and snapshots for quick review in an investigation. The system also allows users to view cameras from any Video Insight server, control pan/tilt/zoom, and select presets.
VI Monitor for Mac is available for download on the Mac App Store. Macs should be running OS X 10.9 or greater, according to the company.
