USC, UCLA to Increase Game Security

LOS ANGELES —The University of Southern California (USC) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) will be bolstering security in and around the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for Saturday’s football game.

The announcement was made by USC Athletic Director Pat Haden and UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero on Sunday, reports ESPN LA. Both schools are coordinating their efforts with USC Department of Public Safety, University of California Police Department, Los Angeles Police Department, Exposition Park Police, FBI Special Events, Homeland Security, California Alcohol-Beverage Control and others to minimize any safety concerns for the contest between the rival schools.
