LOS ANGELES – A female University of Southern California (USC) student was arrested on Monday for allegedly hitting an assistant professor in the head with a metal water bottle.
The female student entered a classroom in Dauterive Hall, walked over to the faculty member and struck her in the head. A witness to the incident who has not been identified said he believed the attack was not provoked, reports USC Annenberg Media. He also said the student had an outburst just before the attack, yelling and slamming her water bottle on a table before class.
