UConn Student Arrested for Operating Dormitory Drug Factory

STORRS, Conn. — Police seized $30,000 in narcotics out of a University of Connecticut (UConn) dorm room on Saturday.

Alexander Angeloff, a UConn student living in the university’s Grange Hall dormitory, was arrested after police found thousands of dollars of marijuana, heroin, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, ecstasy, PCP and crystal meth. Additionally, authorities discovered $4,716 in cash, as well as a pill press used to package narcotics for sale, The Daily Campus reports.

Angeloff faces 14 charges, including possession with intent to sell and operating a drug factory on campus.

He is being held on $500,000 bond.
