MOBILE, Ala.—On Friday a grand jury determined that a campus police officer who fatally shot a University of South Alabama (USA) student will not be charged.
Video surveillance proved the shooting was justified, reports Fox News.
In October, Officer Trevis Austin, a four-year USA employee shot 18-year-old Gil Collar, who was on LSD at the time of the shooting. The jury claimed that Collar’s ingestion of LSD may have caused him to behave strangly.
