U. of Kentucky Bans Big Bags at Football Games
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Under a new security policy, the University of Kentucky has banned backpacks and large bags from Commonwealth Stadium.
Guests are allowed to carry one bag, no bigger than 13.5 by 10.7 inches, into the stadium. The bag must fit within sizing bins at stadium gates, the Associated Press reports.
The university decided to implement these new measures in response to recent national events and security trends for large gatherings.
