U. of Colo. Looks to Hire ‘Campus Alcohol Agent’

BOULDER, Colo. — The University of Colorado is looking to hire a “campus alcohol agent” as a single point of contact for event planners to learn about alcohol guidelines and fill out the paperwork necessary for hosting campus events that include alcohol.

The university has heard complaints from event planners that the rules and permit process can be confusing, the Daily Camera reports. The campus alcohol agent will issue alcohol permits and make sure campus rules are being followed.

The campus alcohol policy states that drinking games are not allowed at events, no one can be served more than two drinks at a time and guests aren’t allowed to serve their own alcohol.
