U. of Central Fla. Fraternity Suspended

The University of Central Florida (UCF) announced that the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity has been suspended until the end of summer 2014 and will be on probation until the end of summer 2015.

The ruling was prompted by an unauthorized party in July where fraternity members served alcohol to underage students, reports Central Florida Future. Campus police witnessed party goers passed out on the lawn of the house. Additionally, there were make-shift bars in nearly every room.

While suspended, the fraternity will not be allowed to use UCF resources or participate in campus activities.
