Toshiba Surveillance & IP Network Video of Irvine, Calif., has upgraded its network video recording server software (NVR) to allow users to view, record and playback up to 32 local or remote IP network cameras simultaneously per server.
The software is designed for use on non-proprietary hardware and IT infrastructure running Microsoft Windows XP. It seamlessly integrates with existing digital video recorders, pan/tilt/zoom (p/t/z) controls and video-based motion detection devices. It also records image resolutions as high as the IP camera supports, including megapixel models from Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic and Axis.
