CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire health officials plan to test thousands of people who may have been exposed to hepatitis C by a technician at Exeter Hospital who is now facing criminal charges.
The state had scheduled two clinics for last weekend, but canceled them because there were too many details that needed to be worked out, the Associated Press reports. A new plan will be announced Friday afternoon.
Thirty patients at the hospital were diagnosed with hepatitis C after being exposed to contaminated syringes used by David Kwiatkowski.
