Texas College to Start Police Force
GAINESVILLE, Texas — The North Central Texas Community College board of regents unanimously voted to establish a campus police force Monday.
With an annual budget of $300,000 in the first year, the department will initially hire a director of campus police and an emergency management director.
The college also plans to purchase its first police vehicle by September.
