LOUDON, Tenn. – A 48-year-old school bus driver passed out behind the wheel while driving 30 students Sept. 30. The driver was intoxicated, according to Fox News.

The Loudon County Emergency Management Agency noticed the school bus had stopped for an extended amount of time. Police were immediately notified, where they discovered Vicky Lynn Kwasny passed out. No one was injured.

Kwasny was taken to a hospital and then jailed Sept. 30. She was given a blood alcohol test; however, the results were not available at press time.

School officials said Kwasny has been a contract driver since November 2007 and had a clean record. She will not be allowed to drive a school bus until the school officials complete their investigation.
