Teen Shoots Self in Head After Firing, Missing Teacher

LAROSE, La.

A 15-year-old Louisiana middle school student shot himself in the head shortly after firing at a teacher and missing.

The student allegedly took aim at the teacher in his classroom on May 18. After missing the shot, he went into the school’s bathroom and shot himself, according to the Associated Press.

The student is in critical condition.
