Talk-A-Phone has added self-diagnostic and reporting features to the VOIP-500 Series phone/WEBS paging module.
With the new VOIP-500 firmware, the devices can now perform a number of self-diagnostics on a scheduled basis. For diagnostics of the VOIP-500 Series phone built-in speaker/microphone or WEBS speaker array, a pre-configured tone is played from the speaker(s) of the tested device. It is then recorded via the device’s built-in microphone for analysis.
Users can receive a diagnostic report via E-mail, phone call or activation of the product’s auxiliary output interface.
