SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Former Syracuse University linebacker Malcolm Cater was sentenced to one to three years in prison for a campus burglary spree that occurred at the end of the regular football season last year.
Cater pleaded guilty in September to three counts of third-degree burglary, the Associated Press reports. He was dropped from the football team after his arrest.
Cater performed three separate break-ins last December on the school’s south campus.
