Student Videos Teacher Stealing Money From Backpacks

LINDEN, Calif. – A Linden High School student is being praised for masterminding a cell phone video sting operation that caught her teacher taking money from students’ backpacks.

Justine Betti, a sophomore, was prompted to investigate when her classmates noticed money was missing from their backpacks, reports News10.net. She hid in a gym locker and was able to video her popular, 30-year-veteran teacher taking cash from Betti’s classmates’ belongings.

She then shared the video with the school principal. The teacher is currently on administrative leave pending an investigation.
