Student Suspected of Hacking School Computer, Changing Grades

PHILADELPHIA – A high school student may have been paid by at least five classmates to hack into his school’s computer system to change the latter’s transcripts, authorities said.

The Cherry Hill East High School student, officials said, somehow learned the password to the system and changed the grades. The school is considered to be one of the top schools in Philadelphia. Investigators are calling the incident a fraud/computer crime.
