CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Police say a University of Massachusetts – Lowell assistant professor was stabbed by a student upset because he received a failing grade from her.
The 22-year-old student dragged the science professor out of her house, hit her and slashed her neck, according to authorities.
The suspect has been charged with armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
