Student Shot After School Basketball Game

NEW YORK

A William Floyd High School student was shot in the leg after a basketball game. The boy’s injuries are not life threatening and the shooter is still at large.

Security personnel were able to drag the 9th grader into a secure building. The school was on lockdown for 20 minutes until police were able to respond. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
