FORT WORTH, Texas — A 15-year-old student from O.D. Wyatt High School was critically injured by two other students on Aug. 25 in an assault that began in the cafeteria and moved off campus.
Two brothers assaulted the sophomore in the cafeteria, prompting the boy to run off campus, the Star-Telegram reports. A school security officer overheard students in the cafeteria yelling, “fight” and one of the suspects saying, “He hit my brother.”
The officer arrived at the scene where the boy was assaulted off campus. He was unconscious and being repeatedly kicked by the suspects. The suspects refused to stop, and the officer used a Taser on both brothers to stop the assault.
