SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A 15-year-old freshman at Grant High School West Campus collapsed after running a quarter-mile in his P.E. class. He died shortly after his collapse at a nearby hospital Sept. 29.
Witnesses said Jaazaniah McGee was fine during the run and was able to keep up with the other students. Police are investigating the case.
Grief counselors are available for students.
